Naomi Karavani is a comedian and a correspondent for the news comedy show Redacted Tonight, “the finest TV satire,” (Salon). She has participated in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Bentzen Ball, the Comedy Central “Up Next” showcases, the Brooklyn Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, Cape Fear Comedy Fest, Underground Comedy Fest, What a Joke Fest, Laugh Your Asheville Off, the Rogue Island Comedy Festival, the Limestone Comedy Festival, and the District of Comedy Festival. “Very funny” (Time Out). ​ Her independent projects include producing "Bitches Brew," a weekly stand up show in Brooklyn (named one of Time Out’s “Best Comedy Shows” in NYC), "Boys go to Baghdad," a world news podcast, and "Fale University," a fake university lecture series. ​ Her writing or videos have been covered by Time Out NY, NPR, Huffington Post, Mintpress News, Ad Age, Elite Daily, The Canary, Brokelyn,The Ring of Fire Network, and The Frisky. She’s made appearances on Las Culturistas, Pod Damn America, the 60 Minute Hate, and Smiley Frown. Naomi is from New York City and graduated from Barnard College.
