Kate Robards

Kate is a stand-up comedian born and raised in the bayou swamps of Orange, Texas. She has been featured in top festivals like SF Sketchfest and Oak City Comedy Fest, and her solo shows have been praised as "hilarious" by The Washington Post and "genuinely funny" with "wry wit" by The San Francisco Chronicle. With a talent for comedy writing, Kate has contributed to publications like Betches and Lady Spike Media, and has written jokes for notable figures such as Kathy Griffin, JB Smoove, Busy Phillips, Stacy Abrams, Phoebe Robinson, Simu Liu, and more. Her onscreen appearances include HGTV's Prank Show House Haunters with Anthony Anderson, the VICE Feminism panel (which has garnered over 5 million views on YouTube), and the Netflix documentary Principles of Pleasure. And if that weren't enough, her solo show AIN'T THAT RICH is currently running at Soho Playhouse, showcasing her unique brand of humor, where rural meets urban and the “haves” clash with the “have-nots.”
