Josh Alba is a stand up comedian since and actor; born and raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in a small railroad apartment with a single mother and 3 other siblings, money was very tight or pretty much non existant. Laughter and a sense of humor made up for everything else in the family. Work was priority over school, so he almost dropped out of high school (thankfully didn't) but at the same time, always wondered what it would be like to get into comedy. After discovering open mics, he performed at his first one in December 2011 and boy, it was attrocious. "All I remember was not only how bad I felt after but looking down at the sidewalk the entire time going home". Somehow he decided to do it again. And again. And again. Until he started to get it right, finally! Josh has now not only performed in NYC, but also Long Island, upstate, Austin Texas and continues to travel all over as well. He was in Spike TV’s Frankenfood, been a part of New York Comedy Festival a few times as well as started producing his own comedy show twice a month in Bushwick named Gilded Comedy.
