John Hedrick is an Asian American comedian from Maryland but has performed up and down the east coast. His comedy explores the ins and outs of being biracial while postulating the reality of modern times through a youthful lens. During John's time at the University of Maryland, he created an open mic for students to try stand-up, performed for a large scale student rendition of SNL called Maryland Night Live, and then returned as head writer for the next season of MNL after graduating in May 2019. He has also opened for a wide range of performers from Cupcakke to Karen Chee. John is currently producing a standup / live music show in his side yard and looks forward to producing shows at a venue once Russia comes out with that safe and trustworthy vaccine.
