Emil Wakim is a stand-up comedian newly based in Brooklyn by way of Bloomington, Indiana. He can be seen charming audiences with his comedy that was once described by his foreign parents as, “We don’t get it.” A lovable combination of self-deprecation and social consciousness, Emil has performed at the Limestone Comedy Festival, 208 Fest, the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, and was selected as part of the “Best of the Fest” at the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival. He has opened for Kyle Kinane, Todd Glass, Moshe Kasher, and regularly for Nikki Glaser. Emil wrote a joke for the Comedy Central Roast about Robert Deniro that made him laugh, so he will be riding that high until Deniro has him wacked.
