Bryan Yang

You know from: NBC
Bryan Yang is a stand-up comedian, writer, and “actor” based in New York City. He’s originally from Sacramento, but moved to New York because he was sick and tired of being able to afford rent. In 2013, BuzzFeed named Bryan one of their “Top 14 Comedians You Should Be Paying Attention To.” He was number 12 on the list, so he barely made it. In 2014, nothing happened. Things turned around for Yang in 2015, when he was invited to perform in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Limestone Comedy Festival. In 2016, Bryan was a semifinalist in the StandUp NBC showcase, and appeared in Paste Magazine's "Stand-Up at the Paste Studio." ClickHole selected Yang to participate in their writing intensive in 2017. Most recently, Bryan was named to the 2018 class of NBC's Late Night Writers Workshop, was once again a semifinalist in the StandUp NBC showcase, and performed in the New York Comedy Festival. Yang has opened for amazing comics like Michelle Wolf, Ronny Chieng, Gilbert Gottfried, and Greg Proops. Bryan has also performed in some of the best venues across the country including Cobb's Comedy Club, Punch Line San Francisco, Punch Line Philly, Punch Line Sacramento, Helium Comedy Club, The Comedy Attic, Stand Up NY, Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s, NY Comedy Club, UCB, and the Gramercy Theatre. He mostly performs in the basements of bars though. There were too many bars to list individually.
